Note: This warranty applies exclusively to products purchased directly from Laptop Menu's official website or store. Items purchased through third-party platforms are subject to the respective marketplace's warranty and return policies.
Warranty Period
Standard Warranty:
- All Non-Apple Products: Coverage is valid for one year from the original date of purchase by the end-user.
- Apple Products: Coverage is valid for six months from the original date of purchase.
Extended Warranty:
- Customers have the option to purchase extended warranty coverage for up to two years. This additional coverage extends beyond the standard warranty.
What Is Covered
Manufacturing Defects: This warranty ensures that refurbished products and accessories in their original packaging are free of defects in materials and workmanship when used as outlined in Laptop Menu’s guidelines (e.g., technical specifications and user manuals).
Hardware Components: The warranty includes all core hardware components and branded accessories in the original packaging, such as:
- Screen
- Motherboard
- Keyboard
- Hard drive and memory (RAM)
- Accessories included with the original purchase
Laptop Menu will repair or replace any hardware issues caused by manufacturing defects or normal usage within the warranty period.
What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not include:
- Third-party accessories, even if purchased through Laptop Menu.
- Software issues, including operating systems or applications.
- Consumable components like batteries, unless failure is due to manufacturing defects.
- Superficial damage (e.g., scratches, dents, broken ports) not caused by defective materials.
- Damage caused by external factors (e.g., misuse, accidents, liquid exposure, or natural disasters).
- Repairs or upgrades performed by unauthorized personnel.
- Products with removed or altered serial numbers or that are reported as stolen.
- Normal wear and tear or aging-related defects.
Your Responsibilities
- Backup Data: You are responsible for backing up all personal information stored on the product before seeking warranty service. Laptop Menu is not liable for data loss during service.
- Proof of Purchase: Present valid proof of purchase and follow troubleshooting instructions before receiving warranty service.
Warranty Service Process
- Contact Support: Email us at info@laptopmenu.in or call 9449441290 (Monday-Saturday, 10 AM - 7 PM) to request warranty service. Include a description of the issue and proof of purchase.
- Remote Assistance: Our team will attempt to resolve the problem remotely within 24-48 hours via troubleshooting or diagnosis.
- On-Site or Facility Repairs: If the issue persists, we may schedule an engineer visit or ask you to send the product to our service center for inspection.
- Replacement: If repair is not feasible, we may replace the product with an equivalent model. Replacement products are covered under the remaining warranty period.
Shipping and Handling
- Covered Shipping: If the issue is covered under warranty, Laptop Menu will cover shipping costs for returns and repairs.
- Proper Packaging: Ensure the product is securely packaged to avoid damage during transit.
Limitation of Liability
Laptop Menu is not liable for:
- Non-hardware issues, such as software errors or user mistakes.
- Indirect damages, including financial loss, business disruption, or reputational harm.
